About us
Assured Hope Ministries, in partnership with Association Refuge for the Soul, is committed to bringing the peace and love of Jesus Christ into places where hope is needed most. In our community, we have planted a church that has grown to 50 members, visit local high schools and middle schools each week to share the Gospel with students, and established a youth center where children and teens gather for activities and Bible studies.
We also organize annual summer camps, provide support for refugees and those affected by the war in Ukraine by distributing essential supplies and sharing the Gospel, and assist struggling families in Romania by supplying firewood to heat their homes during the harsh winter months.
We believe God has incredible plans for Romania and Ukraine, and we are excited to invite you to be part of the work He is doing here.
Meet the team
Rudy Rudisill
Rudy has been a part of Assured Hope Ministries since the beginning of 2022. Rudy and Megan Rudisill have been married for 35 years and they have three children Moriah, Lauren, and Caleb who are all married. They also have four grandchildren. Rudy and his wife attend church at West Coast Church in Parrish Florida. He was also the Senior Pastor at this church for over ten years and now serves on the board there. Rudy is involved in many different mission outreaches including outreaches to Asian Nations where they bring the Gospel of Christ to closed off countries towards the Goslpel such as Vietnam, China, and Nepal. He is also involved in Living Waters International where they install wells to provide clean drinking water for villages in El Salvador, Honduras, and Nicaragua and the Abraham project where they built homes for abused, abandoned, and neglected children in Costa Rica and Panama.
Rudy is a business owner of a company called Pipe Restoration Solutions where they rehab aging sewer and storm pipes. They currently reside in Ellenton, Florida and Rudy’s hobbies include surfing, Vintage Motorcycles, and Traveling.
Todd Petzoldt
Todd has been a part of Assured Hope Ministries since 2017. Todd currently resides in Laguna Beach, California and has a daughter named Saylor. He also attends Mariner’s church in Irvine CA. Todd has on worked on many missions’ projects in the past including outreaches to Asian Nations. They preached the Gospel to closed off countries such as Vietnam, China, and Nepal. Todd has also worked with Living Waters International where they installed wells to provide clean drinking water for villages in El Salvador, Honduras, and Nicaragua. He also is involved with the Abraham project in which they built homes for abused, abandoned, and neglected children in Costa Rica.
Todd was also a General Contractor/Land developer for 33 years and is now working for Pipe Restoration Solutions. Todd hobbies include riding motorcycles and also mountain biking
WILLIAM MILLER
William Miller is currently the president of Assured Hope Ministries. William served in the mission field in Haiti teaching English and preaching the Gospel for one year after he graduated from college. He practices law in Phoenix, Arizona and lives in Laguna Beach, California with his wife Andra Miller. Together they have four children Billy, Timothy, Mark and Elisabeth. Although William is a full time attorney, his desire is to help other ministries spread the Gospel.
Gabi Covaci
Gabi Covaci is the founding pastor of Maranata Romanian Pentecostal Church in Șiria and currently has the responsibility of overseeing our church. Gabi is also the head pastor of Tabor Pentecostal Romanian Church located in Riverside, California. He is married to Lavinia and they have 8 children; Lavinia, Bobby, Abigail, Daniel, Naomi, Sarah, Miriam and Noah.
When Gabi was a young man, God called him to preach the Gospel and he has been involved in the ministry for over 20 years serving as a youth leader, assistant pastor and now as a senior pastor. He has a desire to lead people to Christ and has worked in the mission field in Romania planting churches and holding evangelist crusades all throughout the country seeing thousands of lives touched by Christ.
Billy & Ioana Miller
Billy is a young man who is passionate about preaching the Gospel. He was raised in a Christian home and has a great family; however, he strayed away from the Lord during his young adolescent life. Nearly nine years ago he had an encounter with Christ and his life forever changed. After he was saved, he felt a call to the mission field. The Lord called him to Romania to preach the Gospel and to work with children who are less fortunate than him. During his time on the mission field, he also studied and completed practical theology from Fire School of Ministry Online. He is currently finishing his bachelor’s degree in Theology at Aurel Vlaicu in Arad, Romania. His heart’s desire is to see people come to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ and to work with those who struggle with life controlling problems. He married Ioana Miller July 23rd, 2017, and they have two children together, William and Tessa. Billy is currently involved in the church in Siria, preaching weekly and helping many adolescents in Arad. He has also been involved helping the Ukrainian people affected by the war in the last few years and they do mission projects there nearly every month.
Ioana Miller has always prayed that God would use her to be a light for those who are less fortunate than her. She has always had a passion to work in the mission field, especially to work with children. She has a desire to plant the seeds of the Gospel in children’s hearts and to see them grow in their relationship with the Lord in order to become true disciples of Jesus Christ. Ioana has been working with children in the church for the past twelve years and has much experience regarding teens and youth. Since she was a young teen, she would help at summer camps every summer and has seen hundreds of children and youth come to Christ. She was also involved with a ministry called AMEC for many years that focuses on child evangelism. Ioana has her bachelor’s degree in education from Western University Aurel Vlaicu in Arad and also earned her master’s degree in Romanian Literature in June of 2018.
Mike Flynn:
Clare and Mike Flynn have been married for 35 years. They have two grown daughters, two wonderful son-in-laws and 4 beautiful grandchildren. 3 girls and one sweet boy. Their ages are 2 – 6 years. Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, his children, and grandchildren. He also enjoys exercising, hiking, golf, and washing cars.
They both attend Scottsdale Bible Church when living in Arizona. They are also involved in the local church when they spend their summers in Newport and Laguna to escape from the Arizona heat. Mike was also involved in various mission outreach projects such as Younglife and has a heart for those who do not know Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
He recently sold his business after 42 years. He loved investing in people there, but now believes it is time to reinvest in people as the Lord presents in the second half of his life.
