In the month of May, Assured Hope Ministires was given the opportunity to go and minister to refugees affected by the war. We traveled to Chernivsti, Ukraine, which is right next to the border of Romania. Many people staying there came with their families to flee from war zone areas such as Kiev, Odessa and Donbas. We served at three centers and handed out food supplies and other living necessities for them. Most of them were women and children as the men are fighting on the front lines of war. Most importantly, we were able to share the Gospel with them and pray with them at the end of services. Many people were delivered from fear and anxiety as the presence of the Lord delivered many of the refugees. Some even decided to follow Jesus for the first time in their lives! It was an amazing experience.
