In the month of August, our team was given the opportunity to minister to children in a poverty-stricken area of Romania. Many of these children come from environments where drugs and alcohol are abused, and they are without hope. Most children located there don’t even have the financial opportunity to buy basic living needs such as clothes. It is heartbreaking to see the spiritual and physical condition that the people of this community face. But for three days our team was able to put a smile on each child’s face by holding day camp activities for the children and youth of this community. We gave them a hot meal each day, held actives and played games with them and taught about Jesus’ love. The presence of God impacted many of these children and many of them lefts the day camp with a sense of hope!
